Because people keep talking about older kids having sex, talking about a 17 year old and a 16 year old, etc..which is not what I was trying to discuss. If people think a 16 year old girl having sex is okay that's fine, but as I keep stressing, we are talking about kids as young as 11 years old, and a school giving 11 year olds condoms and contraceptives is what I have a problem with (despite your obvious opinion that I am a "pedo"...lol).

Yes it is ugly, but making people aware of it is not Pedo (which would indicate the only reason to talk about it is for sexual gratification). This is not a made up story or talking about it just for fun, IT IS HAPPENING. Please read the first post and the news story about it, before you call me a goddamn pedophile.
Yes it sounds ugly to say 11 year old kids are "fucking", and just the thought of young kids doing such things is shocking to most people, but as I said...it-is-happening, and schools are promoting it, which I think is ridiculous. Sadly there is no way to shine a light on something ugly without seeing it. It doesn't mean that one takes pleasure in doing so.

Rocko does have one valid point...it seems people can't stay on topic, and all threads, even in a serious discussion section, turn into a spam fest. I just had to lock the Iran thread because of you guys posting huge spam pictures. When a topic dies down and all the points have been made, why not just let it die and go on the next discussion instead of spamming.

When two people consent to having intercourse, either of two things occur:
-They acknowledge the possible outcomes and have every intention of embracing them with the responsibility needed.
-They ignore everything just so they can screw.
Now, call me old-fashioned, but I believe in sex after marriage. Why? Because it's like taking specific steps in relationships in order. When two people decide to fornicate, to me that's them saying "Oh, we can handle having a kid and taking care of said kid for years to come, but we can't be assed to get married; it's too much of a commitment." That doesn't make sense to me. That's like trying to run before you can walk.
Now, if the kids really believe that they can take care of any and all offspring, hell, they should go for it. Then if they can take care of a child, why can't they move out of their parents' house, smoke cigarettes, order things off of the TV, and gamble? Well, the government says so, the reason being something to the effect of being unable to take responsibility for their actions at such a young age. But wait, they can fuck and bring new lives to the world? That's nuts.
The legal age of consent should be the legal age for everything else, 18 (or "equivalent").
