Not even the coders of Renguard could answer that. WE NEED DETAILS. What are you doing when it crashes? Does windows pop up it's "Submit bug report" thing?

Does the RenGuard window have any error messages in it, or messages saying something like 'You were kicked for xyz' or 'Unauthorised Renegade instance terminated' or 'Error 00000' etc. Just saying 'it crashes' is NOT going to get you any help, because for all we know it could be crashing due to an 'Out of cheese' error. Sarcasm

I'd like to make a suggestion.
Uninstall Renguard,
Back up custom maps,
Uninstall Renegade,
Reinstall Renegade,
Apply Patch 1.037,
Reinstall Renguard,
Copy custom maps,
Allow Renguard to upgrade Renegade to Core Patch 2,
Download jonwil's updated scripts from his sourceforge page and apply them.

Try again.

That's probably a Renegade crash, not a renguard crash. RG just seems to be the first thng u see after Renegade crashes. That is: if RG doesn't give any error messages.

I bet the server is using a script which his client cannot find, thus the crashing to desktop

Include details of which operating system you're running, what your hardware is, and what sort of a crash (black screen? Back to desktop?)
