Ok first off i know this is a crappy video card...

I just installed a radeon 9800 pro agp 128.

After i installed the drivers and everything renegade wont open. everything else opens just not renegade when i click it it says you have encountered a problem and needs to close blah blah.

I dont use renguard because it used to crash so that is out of the question.

Would reinstalling ren work??????

If a program is broken or non-responsive and all else has failed follow the oblivion creed: Delete All, Reinstall.

I uninstalled... When i trie to reinstall renegade i get same error... :/

Is this on Vista?

EDIT: If not I don't recall anything else that is similar. Past that you might want to let someone connect via msn and poke around a bit.

EDIT2: That card is well within Renegade requirements so unless its faulty hardware wise it should be fine.

I have XP Pro, i have tried just about everything, im trying last resort... windows updates, i have about 100 of them i need updating. i never had to do any of this with my nvidia card Sad

i had the same problem when installing the latest catalyst drivers. just go get the next to newest ones
