Hello!

I want to know what exactly I have to do to remove the Chem Warrior's red helmet/visor.

This is the skin:
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x168/furypilot/Chem.png

I deleted the red visor texture and it showed up all white in-game. And making it black had the same effect.

My understanding is that I can make that visor part transparent.

I seen a skin that did that:
http://jelly-server.com/nuke/modules/skins/files/Characters/nasachem/nasachem.jp g

So, if I do the same but increase the transparency to 100%, then the visor won't show up even if it's there.

So, can someone guide me through...how do I make that part transparent?

You will need to enable alpha-blend on the model after a import/export and then you can make an alpha channel in the texture.

EDIT: Looks like alpha-blend or screen is already applied since the helmet is semi transparent.

Try messing around with the alpha channels and make sure to save it in the right DXT format.
