I was using !spectate ingame and flew around, I was suspicious of him, because others said he had infinite ammo, I spec'd him and caught him tossing 5 c4's.

EDIT: Actually I believe it's just the damage radius, but that still plainly says "Proximity C4".

I played with him, and against him on n00bstories Server 2 a day or so ago. Not only did I not notice anything suspicious, but he also wasn't that great of a player, so if he's hacking, he certainly needs the help.

No, no message of purchase distance was shown in IRC at all, I searched the logs, but I'm serious, he was a gdi engineer and kept tossing c4's until i caught him, then he stopped and ran away and left the server, I just used !addban on him since he wasnt in, I had asked for a cheat test, he denied, left, so I banned.

Well, there was this old problem which people may have somehow exploited, back then when we made pickup c4, we didnt set a limit to how many you could hold, so you could toss c4, refill, pickup, toss, refill pickup and have tons, we fixed it so the max for a remote is 2 per player and 1 for all players, cept hotwire/tech, we tested and it works fine now, but the problem is, people cant do this anymore, so how did he? A ton of people would exploit the method I said earlier (refill, toss, refill, pickup) and then they noticed one day they couldnt do so, because I was questioned if we fixed it...so this guy had to be cheating. Logs dont show any refill or purchase from him, plus if he is in the nod ref, he couldnt have refilled, and the c4 glitch is fixed people with original ren scripts cant use it, and people with 2.3+ can, he was also using original scripts because I saw no message saying "player blah blah blah is using scripts version #.#"
