Try to speculate nothing.
I don't think we can.. as in it isn't possible for there to be nothing. Or if there is a way to be nothing, then we can't comprehend it.
Think about this:
Lets say the world and the entire universe is deleted, you and everything else is gone. How can this be? How can there be nothing?
There would be nothing to contain anything, but if there was something to be contained, then there wouldn't be nothing..
What I am trying to say is, how can nothing exist? Just absolutely nothing within the plane of the universe and everywhere?
Also when I say nothing, I mean no time either. When I say nothing, I mean absolutely nothing at all. No light, no color, no matter, no time, no gravity, no anything.
just an abstract topic I thought would be fun to discuss.

Crack open trooprm02's skull, and I'm sure you'll find a clearer answer.

Nothing does not "exist". It's a gap between things that do exist. You cannot see "nothing", because something being "nothing" would imply that "something" is nonexistant. So say there is object A, and object B. In between object A and object B, is nothing, or void if you will.
To us, we would see object A and object B right next to eachother.
So, for all we know, nearly everything has a bit of nothing in it. We just don't notice it.

Because if we could comprehend it, that means that what we are comprehending isn't nothing.

Now that I think of it, the closest thing to 'nothing' that humanity can easily find, is the sales of Kevin Federline's album.
