RIP, Xwis.

For the people that are easely frightened: it should be back up "soon"!

But it will be back up right? You scare me Goztow! Usually, pople say RIP to only those things that are dead and are gonna stay dead. Big Grin

This is temporary, no?

Still currently down. Huh

Only those servers protected by WOl_Proxy or equivalent will be online.

Use direct connect to your favourite servers for now.

Why exactly does this happen so much, crappy servers?

I was able to play after reading this message hours ago, maybe I got lucky and played right when it came back, noticed the server was down and in a loop of "cannot connect...retrying..." a simple reset got it back.

No no...this happens very rarely. Last time it happened was like a month or so ago. So now again it happens. I guess it is expected. TBH, XWIS has a good online record...very less downtime.

Considering Xwis goes down for like once a month and a game I pay to play goes down every tuesday. I would say Xwis has pretty good uptime.

Credit where it's due, they've improved over time.

No, it was probably a networking issue. Uptime of the OS itself is 75 days.
