I recently upgraded to a new video card. ATI Radeon 9600Pro, however during loading the info text is almost transparent. Also during gameplay the player stats are much harder to read, even in 800x600 mode. I have tried a couple of options but have not had success. Also how do you check your fps?
If I play multiplayer internet, the names of all the players are almost illegible. Any suggestions?
Processor 2Ghz
Ram 1Ghz
Video card 128Mb
Refresh rate 75hz
Thanks for any input.

Never mind, I finally figured it out.
In the game screen, I typed ~ to enter command prompt, then typed
screen_uv_bias (which means Toggle half pixel bias in screen text)
This doubled the amount of pixels in my onscreen display, and loading text.
Even the smallest text is now crystal clear. Amazing!!
I also found out how to toggle fps display.
I hope maybe this helps someone else.
