It's nice enough, but I don't like these designs that move away from the curvaceous, and 'suggestive' style that has made Italian cars so desirable.

I agree but that is to be expected ever since the Germans took over Lamborghini. To some, the German-designed Lambo's are an improvement and to others it's not.

The overall feeling in the supercar world is that the Germans "softened" the Lambo's they have designed so far (Gallardo, Murciélago, and now maybe the Reventon). For example, they have completely "luxurized" the interior. Typically, the interiors of supercars have only the basic amenities. Overall, it is believed that Lamborghinis have become too civilized for a supercar.

In this, Ferrari has stayed true in their designs. The latest Enzo Ferrari looks amazing in the exterior but lacks a luxurious interior but more than makes up for it by having the overloaded supercar features.

For sure, you will like the next Ferrari.

I'd rather pick up the upcoming Corvette ZR-1 (Blue Devil), give the Lambo driver who sat on a waitlist for two years a heart-attack, and pocket a difference of about $200,000. I'd get better fuel-economy, and emissions too, and these days, that's sexy. Big Grin

While many of the high level supercars (Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Pagani and others) are put to their limits by some owners, most really tend to keep them locked up in their garages as a giant financial investment...for what, I don't know.

Sure, they do drive them often but those who can afford these cars are not necessarily trained well-enough to push the car to it's limits safely. They can drive on the highways and streets for sure but on a test track they will hire a professional driver and enjoy the ride as a passenger.

Most ordinary folks like us are content with cheaper and more efficent cars that don't have a fuel consumption rate of 6 miles a gallon. LOL.

The ZR-1 looks cool. I will take the Ford GT anyday.

Actually, if you thought the Ferrari Enzo was cool, look at this:
