Version MIsmatch Combo [message #282630]

I was using ren and RG for some time, but 2 days ago, i got a problem. somehow it kept saying i got the wrong version, with every server. i didnt added or changed a thing, nor im banned etc. so i removed ren and clean install, without stuff --> Online possible, so i dled rg --> but as my RG somehow doesnt even download cp1 nor cp2, i had to manually update them threw the sticky. So i did. After that i dled scripts 2.9.2. Guess what, i now again get the version mismatch thing, and i think cos of outdated RG updates?

And wow, i had to wait 30 mins, then this site finally loaded after typing the message.. whats up with this?

30 mins? seems a bit long, no? It was probably about 5 minutes because it was doing a database backup.

A screenshot of the error would be useful. Are you using TFD or normal renegade?

Took 30 min, could be downtime for my provider too though. Using Tdf, will take ss asap.

Edit: I can join every server with other accs, but with my 'DutchNeon' account i get that version mismatch on every server ( i didnt tried every but i tried n00bstories, Gz0ne and some other popular servers )

I didnt had this before, and i dont want to change accounts again, as i got mod stats on this account on gz0ne server and stuff, but whats the cause? and its fixable?

Most renegade related errors seem to fix themself after a computer restart. Try that. Sorry I cannot give you anymore advice.
