kids with guns jeez what next? the first thing i'd do after taking them into custody would be to investigate how they got their hands on a firearm, question the parents etc. i don't think the truth would be hard to come by.

I'm sure they will.
Still it's very sad. It seems these acts are effecting younger people everyday.
In relation to this story, there was a kid arrested about 10 mins from my house because he was caught converting air pistols into single shot .22 caliber firearms. He ended up shooting himself in the hand and that's how the police were tipped off. They found 4-5 more converted weapons in the house after they searched. They also found an unregistered rifle that belonged to the father. Sad thing is the kid's only 14 or 15.
