Umm, I click my Renx Icon, I get the loading cursor, wait for like 20 seconds, the cursor goes away and the program never comes up.
I go to the task manager, and the program isn't in the task list, but when I go over to the processes tab, I see "renx.exe" is running...
Anyone know whats up? Should I reinstall RenX?
..Edit: I just reinstalled it, and it still doesn't work. I even tried installing gmax and RenX into a different directory, and it still doesn't work..

Nope, no crash/error log. It acts as if it IS loaded, hence the process in the Task Manager, it is just the program never actually appears.
I only notice it stopped working today. It may have stopped earlier though. The last time I had it open was I think on either Thursday or Friday.
I tried opening a save file for it, it brings up "select program from list" so I find Gmax, and tell it to open, but the same thing happens. The program doesn't come up, but it does in the process list.
During the days I haven't had it open, I haven't been home, and haven't used the computer. When I was back, I installed Photoshop, and this was yesterday afternoon. I also installed/uninstalled a few GIF animating programs. I think 4 in total. (3 didn't work, last 1 did)
Do you suppose one of the 5 things I installed/uninstalled has anything to do with this?

Ok, no, that didn't fix the problem, but when I was about to reply, I shut down some programs in my taskbar, and tried to load it up again.. and BOOM it worked.
The programs I Shut down were:
DAP (Download accelerator plus)
Yod'm 3D Desktop
Visual Tool Tip
RenX/Gmax used to work with Yod'm, so I don't think that was the problem. Visual Tool Tip just gives images of windows when they are minimized in task bar and I hover over them. DAP simply finds multiple hosts for a single file, and spreads downloading out among them, thus increasing download time exponentially.
VisTT and DAP are new programs that I forgot I installed yesterday. I will go restart them and see which ones caused the problem.
EDIT:
Alright, turns out that DAP was the culprit.
*goes to turn off 'start on windows startup'*
Thanks for your help anyway.
