I just got through ordering a PS3 60gb and a Premium 360 (I'm on my 5th Wii, they keep breaking or bricking), any suggestions on games? I already subscribe to gamefly but just going through the list I have no idea how good any of these games are.

I hear about Gears of War a lot and I saw Dead Rising (Evil clown = got my vote), added them both to the queue but what else is there?

I know more are on the way and thats mainly the reason I bought them but what should I be playing to fill the gap?

Little gaming history to show my taste:

All time favorites are Perfect Dark 64 (Hated 360 PD) and FF7 however I usually don't like to play that many rpg games. Last one I played was twilight princess and before that was FF10.

Loving Kotor (Currently playing the first and will play the second when I've finished)

Liked Red Steel, 80's Guitar hero, Call of Duty 1&2&3 (4 can suck it), Excite Truck, Katamari, Turok series, Lego star wars (got bored fast though), Rouge Squadron series, Zombie Master (HL2 mod), Resident Evil series (more shooting less puzzles),Star Wars Empire at Wars with Forces of corruption, Twilight Princess, Super Mario 64/ DS, AVP 2, Some Tom Clancy (but get bored fast), Pokemon (So sue me, I own every single pokemon adventure), Red Dead Revolver, Gun..I'm sure there is more..

Things I hate: Halo, Serious Racing Games (I prefer unrealistic stuff IE: Excite truck, Mario kart), Any game that has grinding, Doom 3, Sports, Dragon Ball Z and alike, 2d games (yes well to be honest I haven't enjoyed one in many years), UT Series.

Well thanks for reading and any help given twords the games. Oh and I got 4 controllers for both systems so only fun in multiplayer games are fine too.

Motorstorm is a great buy if you're into muddy rally races with 11-16 other players. Also Rainbow Six Vegas is good too. Apart from them there really isn't much going out for the PS3 until some 'decent' games are released for it.

Your 5th Wii? I've left mine under a pile of sweaters with connect-24 enabled for over a month before and it got hot enough to actually burn me. But it still works perfectly. I don't want to know what you're doing to them to make them break.

My original Nov 19th 2006 Wii was bricked by Paper Mario, One after that drive failed and wouldn't spit out disk's anymore, Next one had some error after I updated it to the latest version and the last one fried out while playing in a thunderstorm. (Had it on a surge protector and everything, even got an adapter to check the ground but it passed all tests)

This new one I haven't even taken out of the box, got so tired of setting them up and taking them down. Its a big song and dance because of my entertainment centers unique setup. The great thing is though Nintendo's customer service is GOLD. They replaced each and everyone with an overnighted wii. Then they send you a pre-paid box to send them your old one via ups ground. All in all cost me nothing but a little effort.

and Thanks Merovingian, added them both Wink

Sounds like you're just having incredibly bad luck.

Thats for sure but I'm very lucky with warranties, no matter what happens it seems I never have to fight to get it fixed or replaced.

I'll post some new pictures when everything comes in. I ordered everything from newegg with 3 day shipping so it should all be here by friday at the latest. The reason the Wii is a pain in my living room is because I don't like to move the sensor bar around when I use the projector. Nothing too impressive but here is anther thread I posted about it: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=261087&rid=996

EDIT: and my list so far index.php?t=getfile&id=3965&private=0

EDIT2: well youve already seen that, nvm. You were the second poster.

Perfect Dark for the 64 is one of my favorite games of all time. That and Goldeneye 64, although I think PD was better.

Are you into the F-Zero series?

Loved the one for 64 but never knew they made more! Hellz yes.

PD all the way for me, a few people came over once and we just couldn't play goldeneye anymore...fond memories but it just cant stand the test of time. We popped in PD 64 and good times were had by all! We had our own personal bots and would use them to defend imaginary territory from one another.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
