Brave Little Toaster is absolutely fucking terrifying. We all rewatched it last semester because we all loved it as a kid. I mean... the psychotic clown fireman. This whole song about the appliances being disected. The whole song with the New electronics saying that they are better than the old appliances. THAT GOD DAMN MAGNET. I was scared of that magnet even has a kid. Oh and the Vacuum choking on his cord? That part scared me as a kid too. I finally saw it for what it was and I mean there are some things in this movie that are just not kid friendly topics. The vacuum being so terrifyed of the water he has a seziure and swallows his tongue. The discrimination against the old appliances. One of the appliances in that little repair shop is the shaver light and can opener and it's like "please kill me". Some unholy creature. All of the cars being destroyed and sadly singing as it happens. o_O Just thinking about it now has me a bit uneasy again... That is a disturbing movie...
Edit: Oh yeah I forgot when the air conditioner gets so mad and has a heart attack and shoots sparks and smoke and you watch it die. Again o_O...

That's what was great about it man! It really helps develope the mind outside of the Disney la-de-daa bull-hawky. I love the "worthless" song (as posted above). The only thing I would say that is slightly over done is the racial stereotypes. (Heavily jewish tape player, the only black vocalist in the worthless song is the reservation truck)
This movie is gold because it has a lot of dark comedy to it. Also I love the range of emotions the film brings out. The opening scene with blanket can make even a grown man cry but then with phil hartmans take as the air conditioner...it's impossible not to laugh.
It's just like the Boo Box in the movie Hook, watching that guy start to cry and that scream he lets out after he is told where he is going is priceless.
