My server keeps dropping from the list even though it is running fine on the server.

I finally figured out that it must be WOLProxy causing the problems. I have also found that once the appy goes into this problem state it becomes very CPU hungry. It seems to be losing connection, and it keeps outputting the following lines for example:

Quote:

[22:34:32] [WOLProxy a00000017] Game started: C&C_Islands
[22:34:33] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:34] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:35] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:36] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:37] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:38] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:39] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:40] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:41] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:42] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:43] * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 134, WOLproxy.mrc)
[22:34:43] * /sockwrite: 'WOL_r25663745' no such socket (line 221, WOLproxy.mrc)

Line 134 is

.sockopen WOL_r $+ %cur %WOL.ip $sock(WOL_l $+ %cur).bindport

Line 221 is

.sockwrite -nt WOL_r $+ $mid($sockname,6) %incoming

Can someone with more knowledge of the inner workings of this appy help me out.

I'm not entirely sure why this happens, but gkl21 sent me this earlier:

[15:24:10] [gkl21]: While using your WOL Proxy script, we randomly get this error
[15:24:10] [gkl21]: * /sockopen: insufficient parameters (line 135, WOLproxy.mrc)
[15:24:11] [gkl21]: So I Added -> set %WOL_active $remtok(%WOL_active, %cur, 1, 32)
[15:24:11] [gkl21]: and now no issues creating nor got this issue again..
[15:25:08] [gkl21]: When we get that error, just loops on that error line (sockopen ...... line 135) and it wont' come back up. Since the $remtok is at that spot now (added before line 135) it's fine Smile

I'm the bawss.

I will give it a go.

WOL Proxy does loop for me, just like how he said. It causes lag on my box, the server to not show up in the listings, and eventually makes the FDS restart.
