I REALY NEED HELP !! PLZ
i got a problem with level edit(renegade modding tool)
when i had made a simple map with all the buildings and setting inc. waypaths with it i needed to do the next thing:
from tutorial file : http://www.renhelp.net/index.php?mod=Tutorials&action=view&id=16
pathfinding > generate sectors
but the a message will popup: out of memory
this is something with virtual memory (disk space that is used as RAM memory)
I Hope someone know how to fix the problem.....
i already have edited the amount of virtual memory to the option - manage by system -
and i have changed that on both of my partitions inc the one where leveledit is installed on. by now i got 3070 mb virtual mem
i changed this by: right click 'this computer" -- "properties"-- "ädvanced"-- by prestations "adjust" -- "advanced" -- at the bottom u see virtual memory and u can adjust it.
i realy wanted to know why and what that message means becozz i already tried all the things with virtual memory.
-----
i use windXP pro NL languegue
on c drive i have 4,69 gb availble (not used)
on f drive i have 10,2 gb availble (not used)
leveledit and all programs are installed on the f drive
1GB of RAM memory and a 2,2 GHTZ processor
video memory is 128mb

get the fuck off my Internets for your blatant retardation.
You just expect him to speak perfect English?
On topic: Huzzah, I have no idea whatsoever, Maybe it's just another stupid Level Edit bug.
Try JonWils Level Edit fix! http://renhelp.net/downloads/LevelEdit_Jonwil.zip

Ignorance can be tolerated, posting the exact same post in several threads, many more then a year old, deserves a ban, or at least a severe kick in the ass.
What I don't understand is how this guy can have the ability to find these threads, but not actually read them to get his answer.

That's not why I said that joke. He was bumping topics from the black hole that is RenForums every few seconds. If you look at the other topics you will see the gradual joke to this one.
|
Oh, I see.
I thought you was getting at his grammar..
Being mis-led sucks, it can make you look like a right arse.
*says sorry to Oblivion and sadukar09 and hands them a cookie.

Question:
Why do forum goers get mad when someone makes a thread about something that there already is a thread of? They tell the person to "use the search feature"
And then when someone does use the search feature to find the topic they need, they post in it, then they get yelled at for bumping an old topic?
It is a lose-lose situation, and I'm confused to why this is so..

IMO I think that people should use the search feature to try and find the solution to their problem. If 404 then they can make a new thread but they sure as hell don't bump 5 old threads with the same question in all of them.
Bumping one thread isn't really hurting anything (except our original order of business) but making a clean thread wont hurt anybody, the post count stays the same.
EDIT: @ Cpo64 <- that too
