MexPirate - there's a line in a "song" by blink 182 called Fuck a Dog that says "it's a mexican pirate" and it was playing when I set up my first email address and was trying to think of a nickname.
What about you?
It's a mexican pirate .... F*ck a dog by Blink 182

My online name (for everything!) is Starbuzz.
It all happened with the remake of Battlestar Galactica back in 2003. I instanly liked the super-ace Viper pilot Kara Thrace...her callsign was Starbuck.

I really liked that callsign but was not satisfied with the "buck" part. So, I kept thinking very hard of an alternative until "buzz" came into my mind. And I thought "Starbuzz" sounded pretty terrific! The name stuck for good.
"BuzzOfTheStar" is just the name I registered here with and as you can see, it's a rip-off from "Starbuzz."

I was 13 and staring at a BBS "Select a nickname" prompt that I had just dialed up to for the first time on my 2400 baud modem on our brand new 286 computer. (Well, new to us)
From the deep recesses of nothingness, I thought of the word "Magenta". It was taken. So the next word that came to mind is "Crimson". It wasn't taken and was therefore mine. It's worked well since it starts out with a "CR" sound which is the same as my first name starts out.
I'm the bawss.

Mine came from Renegade, my first internet game. I tried to create an account as Sn1per7, but it was taken. So I took Sn1per71, which I later lost the password for. Then I made a new one as Sn1per74- which is now my screen name for every game.
On a side note- I think I have Sn1per71-79 registered on Renegade XD.
