I get erro "13," and I had this for like 2 days. What's going on? Huh

i have split your post from the main topic

1) please do not bump 1 year old topics

2) that is absoltely NO help to me what-so-ever. When you get an error... NR outputs loads of debug information that i will need. It would also help if you was to give me how you got this error

3) if this was over at the NR forums, this topic would immedietely me locked. As we have a new rule now that if you are going to ask a support question, you must ask it in a 'smart' way.

I'm sorry. I'm used to my DoD forums, and I'm not used to sctrict forums.
I read the "How to ask questions" page you sent me. I tried most of those things in "Before you ask", and it didn't help me. I came here hoping I would get the answer I wanted.
In "When asking," I admit I asked a question the stupidest man in the universe could answer easily.
Now, the error. I click "FDS Connect" and it looks for updates. There are none. Running fine. It gives me news. Tell me if you want EXACTLY what the News says. Then it says a cople of other things:
Flushing Player Database Cache...
Database Cleared!
Importing advanced NightRegulator settings from config file...
THEN the error pops up.
"Run-time error '13' Type Mismach"
Is that specific enough?

- it just gets a tad annoying

sounds as if you have a number where a letter would be expected - or vice versa can you send me your nrconfig.ini?

took me 5 minutes to try to figure out how I could get the file to you and I found something MY forums doesn't have:

It's been a while since I gave you that nrconfig.ini. Are you still working on it, were you on vacation and unable to work on it or have you been away from the site?

I think I knew what the problem was. The port was set to 0?
If that was the problem, I have a brand new problem:
When I start NR, it loads, and before it goes to the main screen, it says the "error '13' type mismatch" error.
Can you tell me how to fix THIS problem?

P.S. Do you need the config file again?
