Well,
im not sure if it it because i am running a dual-core notebook
(ok before i start here are my specs... p4 1.6 duo, gig ddr2, ati radeon mobility x1600)
but as soon as i double click the Renegade icon to start the game, it comes up with the Renegade loading screen, the one that appears in the middle of your desktop before it goes to the intro video... you know what i mean. Anyways yes it just doesnt run renegade at all. I have the same problem with Clive Barkers undying.
I havent played renengade for probably just over 2 years but i want to get back into it again like i have got back into UT99 online.
Man the clan i was in on renengade owned too.
But yes if anyone can help or point in the right direction that would be freakin' schweeeeeettt!
Oh by the way, my renengade is patched to version 1037.

It's not your PC.
Have you updated DirectX recently?
Try using The client scripts to make Renegade use DirectX 9 (makes it look nicer, and may fix your problem)
If using Vista run Renegade (game.exe) in XP SP2 compatability mode, as well as "admin"
Try reinstalling Renegade.
