Well I have Bellsouth and they WERE good, then AT&T took over and now it has problems, goes out all the time, and is SLOW! So whats a good ISP? My dads looking at Comcast how are they?

Comcast is fucking awesome. Very fast, reliable, and never break down. And customer care is like the shit (in a good way). They send you a friendly Comcast dude to fix things up if you screw up.
It's good for wireless also...their Modem is pretty stable. It has a rechargable battery that can provide power for up to 9 hours in the event of power failure.
They also got very good blocker tools and parental controls. And you can have up to 6 (not really sure) e-mail accounts I think.

That mask has nothing to do with that. If you notice, that's one of the shortcut things that open up an IM window with that person.

I don't think anyone here can really tell you what a good ISP is. In reality, it totally depends on the area in which you live. Comcast may be good in one area, and their service may suck in another. Although you can use the company as a rule of thumb, because truly some ISP's are just better than others. I would say either go for Comcast or Qwest myself. I have Qwest, and my internet never really goes down and the speed is decent.

Road Runner sucks. But sadly it is really the only choice here because Time Warner has a monoply going strong in my area.
