Well when I start renegade imediatly I get this messageindex.php?t=getfile&id=3680&private=0

I run vista. I had it working perfectly. I think I did a Ctrl alt delte to exit it last becuase I left it on over night when I went to a party and was not responding for what ever reason. Didnt try to play it again till now. Today I purchased another gig of ram and installed it and everything was fine. I went to test renegade and That message pops up. I know for a fact my ram is working just find as I was playing oblivion and morrowind on it.

Ive reinstalled the game. Still not working. Installed 1.037 version of ren via link and still not working. Ive installed cp1 and 2 not working.

My specs are

intel pent 4 3.0 ghz
2 gb ram with 160gb hard drive.

Is it vista? It was working with vista. Say what u want about vista wether it good or bad I really dont care. It was free with my pc

Okay, Go into the account settings and make sure your account is a admin account. (In the Vista Control Panel. Wink )

After that, Right click the Renegade Shortcut on your desktop, Go into the compatibilities tab and click the box with the text next to it saying "Run in compatibility mode for:"

Now you're able to choose something from the drop down menu, Choose "Windows Service Pack 2". Thumbs Up

Good luck!

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
