OK...so I go on WOL today morning and click on the Jelly-Server-new maps server.

There was no one else so the "Gameplay Pending" thing was there. I waited roughly a minute and then, frustrated that no one is coming, I typed this into All Chat:

"Come on bitches...come out and play"

AND BOOM! I get kicked and the fucking small screen that says "the gamehost evicted you" comes up. I was like WTF?

Now, I can't get into that server. TBH, I never liked the Jelly-Servers. It is run by powerhungry 12 year olds.
But it was the new maps server...I love the new maps and this was a good stable server for the new maps. Damn now I am angry.

What stupidity...getting banned for saying a simple curseword.

Does anyone know how long this ban is gonna be? Is it a temp-ban? Is there any other good server that has the new maps out there?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that was probably a language filter-kicker-thing.

You probably got kicked once. So you're probably not banned.

Don't take it out on the owner for not allowing cursing. It's their prerogative. From what I hear, there are much better reasons not to play there. Use those instead.

Well, go to their forum (Community) and say sorry and explain why you said it, etc...

At least you should do something about it?

I mean he's only 12 years old...

Also, I know how it feels, wanting to say stuff to make things change, like that "curseword" you mentioned but you have to try and keep them inside.

heres the thing, this game is rated T for Teen, why did the bots implement a swear filter? Its a fucking teen game, not meant for 12 year olds who never have heared the work fuck before anyway. Sarcasm

They want to keep communities clean, I saw some guy that swore in n00bstories yesterday, some guy said he swore, he got kicked by the moderator (In game)

1) It's not rated T for language, just violence

2) People who play can censor the game how they want. If someone wants to make a mod that doesn't have "blood," causes the guns to become feather dusters that shoot hearts, and makes people simply disappear instead of die, they can do that.

I do think there is a thing called self control though, it makes people respect you....thats another reason why he was probably kicked if it wasnt swear filter, becuase of disrespect for no reason.

Exactly my point. If the choose to let 12 year olds plays a "Teen" game, its their fucking problem if people swear ingame. They dont like it, they technically shouldn't be playing it in the first place, more and mroe servers are turning into swearbot servers, some (like mine) can garuntee they never will, thats the different. But thats weird as that has never happened to me in jelly, althought I dont play in the new maps one Tell Me

Anyway, thank you for helping me out. So, I have to report this to the Jelly Server Forums, huh? OK.

Thanks for your time and help...I know I am a little angry but I really love those new maps and this server has them all. There are other servers that have new maps but Jelly is the most stable and I have many buddies there.

Seriously though, I think it only gives a negative atmosphere usually, and excessive swearing is not a good thing. It's not a problem if you swear once in a while, but simply swearing to swear and to annoy people as happens oftenly is imo a valid reason to kick/ban upon.
