Hi,
ive looked through the forums and couldnt seem to find a similar topic, so ive decided to open up a new one.
i havent played renegade for awhile, so ive updated renguard and installed the newest scripts.dll yesterday.
now the problem is, everytime i normally exit renegade i get a windows error message saying something about a critial error has occured.
i'm curious if any of you have experienced the same thing lately and maybe have a solution at hand.

Plz check if the error is related to game.exe or game2.exe. If it's game.exe , then it's Renguard that crashed and not Renegade.

its game2.exe, thats why i posted it here and not in the renguard forums in the first place.
also, when this happens renguard remains open, its really just the renegade client that crashes.
could this issue be related with the dx9 stuff from scripts.dll?
because i didnt seem to have this problem pre dx9.
(btw im running on xp sp2 with up to date directx (june i think) and current nvidia drivers as well)

Best way to find out is to go back to scripts 2.9.2 who don't use dx9 yet.

hey buddy your not the only one, I used to get that message also ever since I bought this "new" computer 2 yrs ago.
now however almost everytime I try to exit Renegade, I click YES and the hand freezes and a new standard arrow curser pops up. I can't get out of that screen no matter what I try so I just have to turn the computer off.
after 2 years I stumbled on the idea of leaving the game I'm in, then hitting control-alt-delete or the Windows key on my computer and ending Renagde that way.

An alternative is to alt-tab and exit renguard. This will also close your renegade instance.
