So today I was in IRC talking with our server modder/managment and he said that somehow server.ini was missing, he hadnt touched it for ever and one day the server wasnt working, so he looked and found server.ini missing, so he gets it back from a backup file with the same key hostname and settings yet when he starts the FDS it says "Failed to Create Channel" over and over.....so I told him the key must be used all up, but he was using the same exact hostname yet it says failed to create, i told him I have had the same issue with my own play test servers and he claimed he could fix it...using his own serial and renaming the hostname was the only way to get the server running again....anyone know how or why this error occurs even with the same settings? Just curious cause i never touched my FDS since it happened also.

I noticed when I hosted my server back then, I named it's hostname toastserv, and then after that i saw a angelserv and then everything blah blah blahserv...........one new name makes 500 more....I guess thats how the a000 names started???
