I got kicked off of Renguard for 'Running an unauthorized instance of Renegade' or something like that.

What the hell?

I had this same problem this morning.

That's the fix Goztow normally suggests. I hardly get this error, and when I do, I can just press "Renegade" and it all works.

This happened to me while I was in a game. It just randomly crashed and that was the error message. A bit weird.

It happens to me quite often when I click too fast on Renegade. It then terminates Ren when I join my first game.

I get this error TOO OFTEN, i mean i was so mad at RG i was cussing out it out on TS because it did this to me 5 times in 1 match, people heard me of course, and they were like, dude, whats wrong with you? I said...RG...is...the spawn...of satan...Yeah after that LAWLs. But i tell you all now it has NOTHING to do with clicking RG or Renegade fast, and i will state again that SOMETHING is not coded right.

I have the same problem i have waited several minutes before starting and it will do it in game, I have reinstalled everything clean. I am having this same discussion on the n00bless forum but no1 seems to know what it is for real. Is there a way to ask the renguard makers themselves???

I will support it, AS LONG AS IT WORKS. I still cant figure out why Renegade keeps crashing with Rengaurd on, gives me no errors or anything, when i have it off it works flawlessly, soooo irritating. Huh

I have exactly the same problem,but this is what happend.

Sometimes when I first start the game,that message shows up,and I'm not even online yet!

Also,when I finnally got online,I went to this one server,no problem,and when I join my favorite server that I got scripts for,the message shows up again.

Also,I unistalled Renguard from the control panel,but it still shows up. Besides this (And the Unauthorized Renegade instance terminated thing) (major,minor) problem,Renguard is still a good tool (Mostly for the fast loading times and the sounds)

Anyway to fix this? (I may have to reinstall Renegade,get my scripts again,and then finnaly redownload Renguard)
