I have loads of crap in my map... Is there a way to select all the items on the map at once?

The map is full of stuff, and I need to move all that stuff, but the only way is ctrl, but even that won't work for

At top of the presets list click on the tab "Instances"
here you can select objects per catagory, click the select button
and remove them.
