I know that you can log what is said in a game via irc if your a server but is there a way to log what is said client side? ie i join Blas game the logger is on it will record everything that is typed to public or on my team?

Nope, not unless you install some sort of keystroke logger, which would log every thing you typed on your side, including your game movements Smile

Since the messages that show up on your screen are sent to you by the server, shouldn't someone be able to write a program that isolates these and records them?

Not entirely correct, keyloggers only log the text you write whilst a text input box or menu is opened (this is how RenAutoComplete is possible). Ingame keys are not logged, this is all part of renegades advanced anti-aimbot features.
