i need a bit of help
ive googled but to no avail.
It is one in the format of a web address with ?email=myemail on the end
i have AVG trying to rid it, but some reason i have doubts itll work.
Any suggestions?

what i need to know is how to get rid of it
it cant include running regedit or msconfig since they arent stable for me, but task manager works for me...

i have followed a few but it requires a program called 'hijackthis', which the virus i have shutsdown shortly after opening it.
the annoying thing is, after i had clicked it the virus sent me this:

Virus has gone offline

Well, you're the one that's being retarded here. If you got one virus which hadnt directly been blocked by some anti virus product, then it could have installed more virrusses/trojans which you haven't noticed. Thus to be save, backup important files (which you *should* have done before), and then format it and reinstall windows.

Offer advice to the poor guy or STFU and GTFO. Idiot.
Try the Sophos website (google it) and download any anti-virus that it may suggest. Re-start the PC in safe-mode and follow the istructions that you will be given. It worked on my Wifes PC like a dream.

I think this MAY work
1: Restart pc
2: Go 2 safe mode (if u don't know how for XP right after BIOS press F8 then select safe mode)
3: Log in as Admin
4: Do system restore/delete the virus (You can delete the virus since it most likely wouldn't be running as in safe mode, Windows disables ALL non essential programs)
