If you have already installed ssaow into your renegadeFDS with the other neccessary files, then yeah... Just edit the files, build the solution (compile it), then over-rite the existing scripts.dll file in the FDS's server directory.

Visual Studio will convert it to a 2005 project. It doesn't really matter which version he uses. The main difference is when he builds the project under VS2005, .NET 2.0-2.~ becomes a dependency.
