The problem is that after the mandatory update this past week or so, Renegade or Renguard has not launched when I click the icon. It simply does not load anything. I had a few skins and sound files to replace older ones if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Works ok for me...

Go to C:\westwood\Renegade and open game.exe - what happens?

The process isn't starting at all :-S. Can you do ctrl-alt-del after you clicked it and check in the 'processes' tab if game.exe is running? Can you check the bottom right to see if RG doesn't minimise itself automatically as well?

I have the same issue, i got some weird renguard update and now I cant start renegade at all..

I'm going to try a re-install to see if it's any problem with 3rd parties such as skins and sound files, because I did have quite a few, but I also know that the majority of ren players use them for an enhanced gaming experience as well. I'll get back to this thread when I complete the re-install with the news...
