lol | Noah solved the problem of fitting dinosaurs into his vessel by only taking baby dinosaurs. Indeed, the ark has a detailed display of many animals happily boarding the boat: dinosaurs cavort with giraffes, penguins, hippos, and bears.

museum | In Genesis 1:30 God gives ‘green herb’ to every creature to eat and so there were no predators. When a curious museum visitor asks, why exactly T. rex had six-inch long serrated teeth, the guides go on to explain that T. rex used his big teeth to open coconuts. Apparently it was only after Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of paradise that the dinosaurs started to eat flesh.

I'm far from a bible expert, but I'm pretty sure that the bible makes no mention of dinosaurs? I have no problem if people want to believe strange things, but I don't think its right to charge people money just to tell them things that you totally pull out of your ass and pretend to be factual.

Other than the somewhat lame answer of it would be physically impossible to pull an story from that location of the body,
The stories like this from the Old Testament, regardless of them being true or not (I'm not going to debate that), have some relation to what idea is trying to be presented or have some bearing on a factual incident that was modified (on purpose or not).
No story would have any relevance if it were made up to answer a question. None of them do that, they simply exist to show a point (also not something I'll get into here), regardless of historical accuracy.
As for the New Testament, it is a historical record of someone's life. Take away the things that set this historical record apart from others, and its still tells the life of someone who lived over 2000 years ago. Unless you want to be able to call into question all historical texts, that story of a person's life can't really be pulled out of anywhere.
Regardless of whatever changes were made to suite its purpose, there is some sort of basis to all the stories.
This doesn't quite fill the definition of the phrase you used.
