well, when i was updating core patch 2, it told me that my .ddb file was corrupt, so i deleted it, that's probably the problem, how do i get a new .ddb file? do i have to reinstall?

 how do i log in with another account? all that usualy hapens is that i click multiplayer online, westwood, and then advanced game listings. Also i can't reinstall it because the game disk is screwed up

Before you see that screen, there's a dialog box called Message of The Day, or something similar, what does that say?
Have you tried pressing refresh?
