I thought this was interesting. I've been learning about WWI in my history class. My teacher began talking about The Black Hand, I had no idea The Black Hand had anything to do with history. Anyhoo, The Black Hand was an organization to rid Bosnia of Austrian rule. Members of the Black Hand figured out that Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne was coming into town. Even more upsetting to them was that he was coming on a holiday in Serbia- the day of Serbia's conquest of the Turks. Seven members of the Black Hand were chosen to assasinate the Archduke. They were chosen because they all had tuberculosis(TB) and were going to die anyway. They were each given a revolver, a bottle of cyanide, and two grenades. At first, the assasination attempt was unsuccessful- the driver got the Archduke out of harms way. Then, one of the members, a 17 or 19 year old ( I forget) named Gavrilo Princip, was walking the streets and saw the carriage again. He pulled out his revolver and shot into the carriage killing the Archduke and his wife, Sophia. He then turned the gun on himself, but people hearing the shots ran toward him and prevented him from shooting himself. He had no regrets other than that he shot the Archduke's wife. This assassination led to the start of WWI.
- I thought this was interesting that the Black Hand was history based.

Tesla did make a Tesla Coil, it does discharge energy into the air, but unlike Red Alerts, it does not target objects, the energy simply tries to ground itself to the nearest object.

Westwood was good about linking their games together, C&C95 and Red Alert (RA’s ending movie). Red Alert 2 to 1 (one picture in the game, Yuri and Stalin). Tib sun with C&C95 (old vehicles and buildings scattered through out the game). Fire storm to Tib Sun (these connections are obvious). RA2 and Yuri’s Revenge (these connections are also obvious). But then EA stepped in and look what we got, Generals & CnC3 (although CnC3 is actually somewhat related, although you have to read a lot to figure out what the heck happened to GDI’s improving technology, and tiberium (but there is no real good explanation for why it went from weed, plant life, and trees the sprayed it around to simple crystals that come out of holes in the ground)).
*looks back up at the topic* I just went a little off track there.

They have the Black Hand/Eastern Europe historical connection if you noticed while playing the Renegade single player missions and in the game manual.

Locke in the manual says that the Black Hand has struck in Eastern Europe.

Kane comes from the Bible BTW. (Link: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=1&chapter=4&version=9 )

It's spelled differently, but it's supposed to be the same person I think. This is why in C&C95 you get orders from Seth, because Seth was the son of Kane. And as you can see, Kane was sent to the land of Nod. Listen

Funny you brought this up, was thinking about this a few weeks ago, heres a few facts:

1)I was born in Sarajevo, (Bosnia) where the assasination took place, so it was the blackhand.
2)The CFL football team in Ottawa are called the Renegades,

3)I got the game from trooprm1, who is also from bosnia, and we had no idea of any of this In Love

Seth was the son of Kane.

Well, in the Bible, Seth is Cain's brother. Enoch is Cain's first-born son, though.

As for the Renegades team, whoopty do. Renegade isn't an uncommon word.
