alot you need this book: Game Design: Secret of the sages. Third edition

That book tells you HOW TO design your game, not make it. It does teach UI, Hud, Render, Marketing, and alot of game bisness tips. THIS DOES NOT TEACH YOU HOW TO. Just tips and sucess stories and techinics

There alot of interveiws as well, Even westwood employ, Louis Castle.
