Nothing new, open source has been around for a while now. It's just that it being bought to the medias attention that we hear about it. Last case like this was HP installing Star Office on there systems they sell to the public rather than before using Microsoft office. I wouldn't say it's big news because it's being going on over the past few years now.

Anything > Microsoft

In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.

When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

When Linux becomes user-friendly enough (I CANNOT say idiot-proof, because no matter how idiot-proof you make something, there will always be an idiot to prove you wrong) to become commonplace, ie: easily accessible drivers, simple installation etc. THEN MS will be in trouble.
