Where did you get this information? Blachand Studios is active, therefore their forums and renguard are active, and would be even if Blackhand Studios was shut down. Renguard would still exist because it is an anti cheat and practically required these days for Renegamers, also the game needs its official forums.
Their website has even been updated recently: www.blackhand-studios.net

Even if BHS was dead, these forums ARE the official Renegade forums, and Renguard IS the official anti-cheat program. Just cuz a company dies doesn't mean it's stuff dies with it.

Um... BHS is more than just RenGuard. The fact that these forums are still here and active is proof that BHS isn't "dead". BHS also runs RenegadeCommunity.com and RenegadeWiki.com, both of which are active. We are also very close to a RenGuard update, which you would know about if you read the RenGuard Client forums or the RenGuard MOTD which is displayed whenever you connect to it. Jonwil is still releasing scripts.dll updates very regularly, and danpaul88 is releasing BRenBot updates about once a week as well.
RenGuard may be our flagship product, but it's not our ONLY product... plus you are stupid.
