ok well...i had to reinstall renegade cuz i accidently pressed uninstal for it...so i put in renguard (not the beta test,like the 1 on the download area thing or w.e) and it said my always.dbs is bad/corrupted or w.e and it was a fresh install i didn't do anything at all to it so... im saying umm wtf? so i can't even fucking use it...so idk....(btw i even replaced my game.exe with the new beta test 1 to see if it wud fix it and still i got the same thing....)

It does that for me, not commonly though. I would suggest a computer reboot, and if that doesn't work, defrag, and if that doesn't work, a re-install of renegade itself. Since Always and Always2 are basically the core system of renegade, and its the biggest files for it, somewhere in the installation, one or multiple files may have been tampered with by the installer. So, give my suggestions a shot!

thnx cmatt i tried to do the chinese 1 it didn't patch so i went to the renegade updates on the westwood FTP and did the english 1 so...but now i found out it says theirs a bunch of unauthrized skins or sumtin? theyre not cheats??? do thay need to be teste4d by the renguard team or sumtin??? thnx...let me kno whoever...

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant to link to the English patch; I have no idea how I did that on accident.  Anyway, those .w3d files could have been caused by the Chinese patch, if you didn't get those from a site or something. I hate to say this, but I'd reinstall once more (make sure to delete the Renegade folder when you uninstall!).
