I don't abuse drugs sick-like. I'm a responsible, moderate user. Don't be so damn pessimistic jumping to conclusions like that.
I don't plan on having kids either.
Moreover, even if I did absolutely abuse drugs there shouldn't be a problem; it's my life and I should have the right. Drug use doesn't directly cause others' rights being infringed on, and that should be recognized more.

I don't care to argue the semantics of my use of the word "retarded". You can't argue that people who rely on chemical induction of happiness, euphoria, or relaxation are lesser, weaker people than those who have the strength and presence of mind to find natural happiness and highs. Your brain and your body are a wonderful gift and to abuse it for a pathetic substitute for happiness is just pathetic.

Not every user relies on it. Take myself for example.

You may not PLAN on having kids, but you don't know that you won't. You could meet someone tomorrow who changes your life and makes you want a different future for yourself.
As I said before, your drug use CAN and probably DOES affect other people. Even to the most minor of affects, if you get drunk at Disney World and act like a typical drunk kid, then the sober people around you will have less fun because they have to deal with you acting like a retard. Whether it's because a ride operator has to hold the ride for you to get off or on, or stop you from doing something stupid that endangers your safety, or when you puke on someone's shoe or lap or they see the pile of puke you left on the sidewalk and get sick themselves... you affect the people around you.

It would be wrong for me to have kids in such a position and I won't. I will probably never be in that place anyways.
And you just naturally think that's how I would be? I'm never like that--ever--when I drink. And I especially won't be at Disneyland as it's too selfish and it would probably get me caught.
Responsibility.
Yes, drug users can be responsible.

I think I looked passed what you're trying to convey. You're trying to say that even to the most discrete amount, I'm still going to infringe on other people's rights by using drugs, right? Well, I don't believe responsible use makes it enough to be problematic and irresponsible. Opinions are incoherent though.

Well, I just had my weekly poker game tonight and this chick who's the girlfriend of a regular player got drunk and annoyed the shit out of everyone. Her alcohol abuse affected all of us in her company.

How irresponsible of her.
Disneyland is the one in California, probably less than 100 miles from me. And yeah, I've read that they don't seem to enforce their rule of no outside food or drinks. But during Grad Night, it's most certainly going to be different.

Yes you can, because it is nothing but a retarded, narrow minded sweeping generalisation.

it's all true. I live in a city where all of this is quite commonplace in nightlife. now, i don't think there is such a thing as a recreational drug, nor is there such a thing as a responsible drugs user. taking a single unprescribed drug automatically makes you irresponsible of your own body. again, just my opinion.
now, i think most of us don't actually intend to get so bad as to start all the annoying practises, e.g. shout so loudly at mates who are only 5 feet away that people in africa can hear you, start fights, hit on girls who make it clear they aren't interested at all, leave the club and go home and puke all over the place. I know many people go out to get wasted, though, and those are the selfish ones who have total disregard for others' enjoyment. The rest of us just get drinks and enjoy ourselves.
I don't mean to digress, but this is a subject that interests me:
One thing i've noticed is that some of the practises people do when drunk, that you'd probably pass off as forgivable drunken stupors, do in fact reflect that person's personality. People who become really annoying, start banging into people and shouting their heads off, tend to be unrespectable people that you wouldn't want to meet when sober anyway. You'd rarely see a respectable person with that much alcohol in them do most of these things; they'd keep to themselves, or just realise they've had too much and go home to sleep it off.
I suppose this is in defense of z310 saying he wouldn't start annoying everyone if he was drunk or doped up on some drug; believe me i've had my experiences with drunkin idiots and i've came to hate city nightlife because of them. Anyhoo, back on topic!..
