Renegade crashes after Scripts 3.1.4 is installed [message #251267]

Recruit

After I used the Scripts 3.1.4 installer Renegade keeps crashing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Renegade itself but that doesn't work. Every time I try to play it I get one of those dang error reports and it says that my 1eb_appcompat.txt is messed up or something like it. Will installing 3.13 help it? If not what do I do?

If it helps this is the file that i'm being told is the problem C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\6c65_appcompat.txt like i said none of this happened until i tried to us the scripts 3.1.4 setup last night.

iirc the appcompat file is part of windows error reporting, it is generated when a program crashes and is one of the files that windows error reporting sends to microsoft when you click report error on those annoying message windows.

It seems i have Renegade up and running again. All I did was change where Renegade was installed and it worked.
