Here's my small take on global warming.
I personally don't put much credence in global warming, since there's not been much hardcore scientific data directly linking man with an increase in temperature.
But that's besides the point. I don't really mind people who go and blab about global warming and how we're all gonna die. What I do mind is when people blame it on the U.S. gov't. It's like "omg teh US is causing teh glober warmin thing cuz they attacked iraq guyz."
Now if global warming is a reality, I'll be the first one to say the U.S. had A part in it, since the age of industry in the 20's and such, but you can't just point fingers at the U.S.
For example, if you've studied anything about Mexico City you'd know that breathing the air is equivalent to smoking a few cigarettes.
I forget who said it (too lazy to look) but the U.S. is also taking a major part in trying to reduce global warming.

According to this UK Study, C02 does not "cause" warming, it is an "effect" of warming. C02 increases lag behind warming, not the other way around.. and they state that Al Gore knew this, he just didn't bother to point it out..
Why would he? it would sort of destroy his theory on Man-Made Global Warming.

That study was actually biased and has been debunked accordingly.

It's much more annoying when people who are completely ignorant on the subject of global warming state things like "there isn't any hardcore scientific data linking.." when they probably don't even know what empirical data is [also considering the first post ].

I don't think anyone is linking Iraq to global warming.

Maybe if you read below.

WASHINGTON (CP) - While U.S. senators talked about new measures on global warming, advocacy groups revealed Tuesday top officials put pressure on climate scientists over the last five years to downplay the threat.

There is plenty of scientific data linking man with global warming. There is also plenty of scientific data to suggest otherwise.
But hey, lets all jump on the 'global warmin aint real hurr' bandwagon before it's too late.
this is more common than the self-diagnosis of asperger's in the goon population how is it obsCURE FUCKKK

My first post was a fact, if you are calling it false then you are ignorant.

I wasn't talking about your first post. I was talking about THE first post.
