Well today I was out snowmobiling for my last ride of the season due to the snow melting. It was melting really fast and I rounded a corner and splash! Right into a huge pond of water that appeared overnight. Seeing as I couldnt turn around I kept going. I was 9/10 the way through and I sunk. The belt was getting water on it causeing it to slip and my exhaust pipes were covered. I jumped off landing up to my hips in water (Hieght= 5"9) and my snowmobile was on a small ice sheet under the water just holding it up. I thought I could make it and gunned the throttle. Of course I sank down to where the windshield was just sticking up over the water. I had to put the front end up (while standing in the freezing water) and pull my self out. I took me 2 hours to get onto a snow bank. I gunned it again and flew up into a snow drift and got stuck. By than my feet were so cold I couldnt feel them very much. So I ran back to the house dried off and warmed up. Went back out to find the football field size pond grew twice the size. And it was now a huge fast pace stream surrounding my snowmobile. So I had to walk back through it to get to my sled and gunned it out again and finnally got home. Than of course my dog followed me to the snowmobile so I had to go back into the water and carry her out cause she was too scared to go on her own. The end Razz

I have a story about water, ice, LOTS of beer and a 3 wheeler but just like your story. No one cares.

You're in Iowa, Ice has melted here in Michigan. No way you should be snowmobiling on ponds right now.

Colonel

Anyone who buys a snow mobile (woot global warming) is mentally deficient.

Winter only lasted about 50 days, 20 of which worthy for snowmobiles.

Get an ATV lol.
