lol... not a problem... to clarify and make sure I understand this:

When you're on the w2k machine, you can't ping the w3k machine and the w3k machine can't ping back.

When you're using CE, you can ping/see the w2k machine, and it can see/ping you, but you can't ping/see the w3k machine nor can it ping it back?

If you're on the w3k machine... can you ping/see anything?

Nah, i think i confused ya, sorry its like this:

When im on the w2k machine the w3k can see/ping me but the w2k machine can't see/ping the w3k

When i switch to CE i can see/ping the w3k machine but the w3k machine can't see/ping the CE machine

Ok, im gonna try and actually think logicaly now and work out why this is, it might just be windows 2003 server has some compatibility issues.
