I was trying to record something in Renegade using fraps but when I pressed F9 to record, the FPS indicator turned red for a moment and then turned back to yellow and nothing was recorded. When I took a screenshot using Fraps, it turned out black.
This does not happen for other games like Generals.
What's wrong?

It worked fine for me before I formatted my comp so I don't think its a problem with hardware.

Maybe a config setting? AFAIK u need to choose between fraps'ing the whole scrren, a window, ...

reinstall fraps, and terminate all hack and other processes etc,as they may be hogging it all.
diff graphics driver?
