I was reading the thread about the if the earth suddenly stopped spinning. It is a question i have pondered on occasion. But it got me thinking of real disasters that could happen.
And i remembered that Yellowstone park is a super volcano.

There is a "great" show on this topic that occasionally plays on Discovery Channel. Seems like the same old doomsday fear mongering crap. Sure it could happen, but there is absolutely no proof it will, and even if there was, there is absolutely nothing we could do about it.
