Well there guys, I decided to give downloading RG one final run-
I made it this far, so theres no point in turning back.

I get this problem- I downloaded CP1, Unzipped it, The patcher, Unzipped it, CP2, Unzipped it.

Then, i tried to run the patcher, and it said, on a little black screen, "Cant Find Patch File"

Yes, I have 1.037
Yes, I have Renguard AFTER 1.037
Yes, I followed his instructions to the best of my ability.

So you manually downloaded the core patches. Did you download both 'patcher' and 'patchall' for CP2? The sticky about CP2 manual install gives a download link to the 2nd file in one of the lower posts.

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Edit:
Im in the middle of installing "pathcall"

Edit 2: Done installing "patchall"

I wonder if cp2 and patcher - files need to be in those seperate subdirectories or need to be directly in the renegade folder...

You did download all the maps and allways2.dat didn't you? -_-

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
