how the heck do you set it up. i dont understand the instalation tutorial in the download. my aim is to simply use it when i host a game on my network /lan game.

well, it doesn't exlain what you really have to have. this is what i did, and i think its right
1.downloaded http://black-cell.net/SSAOW1.5LFDS.zip
2.copied all my game
3.replaced the files inside the copy with the ones in the zip.
it doesn't change a thing
edit: what are those links for?

replaced all the files with the windows version, but on startup it says critical error and says it only supports dedicated servers

Yes, you cannot use it if you're hosting a game with your client. It only works with the FDS.

1. No new servers needed at all: there's already over 3 times as much server slots as players

I am glad to see that you are still not helping, use the "search button", will thanks for your input you really helped. Maybe he asked because he couldn't find it using the search button. And if you did find it why didn't you answer his question, or perhaps you know even less than he does. Actually I have never seen you answer anyones question, does this mean that all of your 2664 + messages are useless crap. If so I guess I'm done.

If you click on the link it starts a download, he just probably did not know where the subforum was located.
