Can someone please kindly clarify for me what the forum rules are in regards to having an opinion in the 'Hot Topics' forum? Apparently when you speak your mind that is grounds for topic locking and revocation of your posting privledges.
Discuss.

I don't recall having to make a rule that says to obey the admin and mods when you are asked to do something. I asked politely for this one particular line of discussion to end, and now you are trying everyone's patience. I really don't want to have to take matters any further than this. We do NOT want to discuss the Spoony/me situation any further. Why is that so hard to understand? I'm REALLY REALLY tired of fighting with people.
I'm the bawss.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, but j_ball, let's be practical. There is no good reason why his topics are being locked... if there is, please notify me.
Don't try to tell me "IT'S TEH WILL OF THE MODS! U OBEY THEM!?" because in a situation like this, that's just ridiculous.

The administration doesn't want the discussion of this topic on their forums. Honestly, I would delete every thread on my forum that was meant to be disrespectful to my wishes. I have no tolerance for disrespect. Nobody has the right to be on these forums. Nobody has the right to post, and certainly no right to disrespect the administration.
I don't give a fuck if you think that is logical or not. I wouldn't let someone into my house just so they can speak malign words about me. That's just asking for a shove out my door or a call to the cops about a trespasser. Nobody comes into my house and disrespects me, and the same goes for my sites and forums. I believe it to be no different here. Obey the mods or STFU and GTFO.
whoa.

Yeah but the differenc here is that the mods and admins of this forum are supposed to be doing the community a favor and upholding a responsibility to us all. If they start censoring people, deleting posts, and locking topics that they don't agree with ... this becomes a disinterest to the community.
All I wanted to know is why Warranto decided to get a hair up his ass and lock all of my threads. He never once PMd me, and when I went into discussions about asking him why he's locking he just said "dont argue with mods" (put simply) and locked again. In my mind that is mod abuse.
You're not going to get the respect of people by treating them unfairly or with bias.

To be fair she did, I don't think the desire is there to set things up, so I am done with it for now.
It seems that the train of conversation simply resulted in flames from all directions - seems better for everyone if Spoony and Crimson sort things out between themselves.
fl00ded if you are interested in the concept and not just arguments between spoony and crimson then give me a shout.
