This is a problem that has been around since the first scripts.dll came out. The "screen freeze", where renegade just hangs for 1 or 2 minutes after entering the advanced server listings.

Does anyone know what causes this annoyance?

Yeah, it's caused by having .PKG files in your data folder. Usually it's a short amount of time if you have like one or two of them, but if you have more it'll hang for a while. I don't really know why this happens, I only know when it happens.

Strange, I always thought it was caused by scripts.dll or bhs.dll. Whats That

Thanks, though.

It happens too if you have an "excessive" amount of maps in your data directory. If you do, move the ones that you never/seldom play to somewhere else and see if that helps.

You mean a banned serial? 'Cause afaik Xwis doesn't check how many times u login with a serial. Though xwis has fecked up with multiple people I know :-S.

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord
