i had diversity training today. yeahhhhh

after the training we had to tell a little about ourselves. and through this i said i used to work in another department. Another person asked why weren't you hired. I said well has to do with that wonderful thing called diversity. Subject on diversity was dropped shortly after that and onto the next topic.

We had a group of Fire-Fighters who refused to participate in a GAY MARCH through Glasgow City Centre, Scotland, UK.

Both Crews were suspended, awaiting discipline. Priests became involved because of the Catholic Church's views on Homosexuality. The case was dropped immediately and both Officers-In-Charge were ordered onto a Diversity course.

The course lasts for a day and was given by a female cursing and swearing all the way through. When informed that she was being offensive as she expected the "Guys" to speak like her. She promptly closed the lecture and left.

So much for good old diversity training.
