Renegade worked fine before I installed RenGuard. I've reinstalled both and tried launching each and Renegade will load.
Though I install RenGuard and I get an error trying to launch Game2.exe (directly and through RenGuard). I un-install RenGuard and I still have the same program. This is weird. What does RenGuard do to my original game.exe file besides renaming it?
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to Terminate the program."
I'm running Windows XP 32-bit by the way (AMD Athlon 3200+, 1GB RAM). What can I do to fix the problem?

In answer to one question: Renguard renames game.exe (the original one placed by the westwood installer) to game2.exe so that when Renguard places itself in your ren folder, all your standard shortcuts work.
I don't know how to fix this.

Let me rephrase what both of you said now. Renguard renames the game.exe to game2.exe when you install renguard. The original is game2.exe.  I hope this helps lol

CP2 replaces your original game.exe that is now game2.exe with the TFD game.exe though (still following?).
